Writing Your Life
I see dead people eating gumbo. Neil B.
I see dead people eating gumbo. They are two ghosts sitting on metal wire furniture like I used recently at the hotel in the French Quarter. The dead people are having a good time and enjoying each other's company. They are able to savor the rich and complex flavors of the gumbo as well as the texture of the okra, which is soft and has a fuzzy velvet like cover. They do not seem to be bothered by the fact that their bodies are the only dead parts of themselves. Their spirits live on and live strong. They are able to interact with each other and experience physical sensations and emotions.
Those dead people do not have a definite sex. They may have been men or women in previous lifetimes. At this time one is male and the other is female. They are enjoying the experience moment by moment. They are enjoying each other.
I see them but they do not seem to notice me. I am not afraid of them. I am slightly amused by the scene. Eventhough the setting is dark and hazy it is pleasant overall. I wonder if I can taste the gumbo.
